Loch Lomond Wanders – Netflix Season Is Officially Over.

Netflix season is Officially over; well it is certainly looking that way anyway. The weather has been brilliant these past few weeks; so good in fact that spending the day doing anything other than being outside seems like a wasted day.

Myself and Katy (My brilliant girlfriend if you weren’t aware) have found ourselves venturing out more and more these coming weekends. We don’t get to spend a great deal of time with each other. Mostly just for a day, maybe two over the weekend and recently Netflix was becoming the go to thing. After working all week there is nothing better than just chilling out. But then even chilling out was starting to become tiresome.

Recently though we have both been longing for these little adventures. Just jumping in the car without too much thinking or planning. I’ve found myself having the more fun than I ever could have imagined; Just driving around and getting lost. Even with Katy’s questionable music choice. I feel like they fit perfectly with my “Wanders” series, so here is the first of many more to come.

Some of photos you are seeing in this post are from our first adventure to a tiny village on the banks of Loch Lomond called Balmaha. This was a short lived afternoon as at this point I felt as though I was pushing the limits of my poor old car but we had a lovely day nonetheless.

The second adventure consisted of a drive up the westerly side of Loch Lomond until we reached the Falls of Falloch just slightly north of the Loch. Here I danced about the rocks on the river whilst Katy took photos of me. Luckily enough this did not end up in a wet drive home. That would not have been fun.

As the days get warmer and longer I can only see us starting to go on more and more adventures like this. If you have any recommendations on places or things we should do (Preferably in Scotland) Let me know in the comments below.

Andrew.
