I know it is a bit late but I thought it would be a good idea to put together a wee playlist of what I was listening to in May.
It’s a bit all over the place and really varied but I guess that’s just my music taste. Most of the tracks on the playlist are pretty new so if you haven’t heard them yet I really think you should give them a listen. The whole playlist ranges from the really “funky” Sbtrkt to the really dirty sounding bass in Satisfy the newest track from Nero. (I couldn’t think of a better way to describe the bass, judge me all you like)
I’ve been a big fan of Lana Del Rey for the past few years so of course I have been listening to one of her most recent songs West Coast. It has got to be one of her best songs yet in my opinion, It is just so unbelievably calming and relaxing. It really does put you in a good mood for the summer.
Eez-Eh is hands down one of my favourites on the whole playlist though. It’s just so punchy and in your face, I think Fearne Cotton on Radio1 described it like taking a shot of whisky. She wasn’t far wrong by saying that, whenever it comes on I can’t help but turn it up louder. This was the first single Kasabian released from their new album 48:13 and if Eez-eh is anything to go by I am sure it’s going to be incredible.
So that’s my playlist, just an amalgamation of the stuff I have been listening too. Hopefully I will manage to do another by the end of the month and actually put it up on time.
