Over the last two years I have slowly been running my HTC One M7 into the ground; each passing day it has been getting slower and the battery becoming more unwilling to charge. But finally after months of waiting it is finally upgrade time.
This is my new Nexus 6p, maybe not the most obvious upgrade to most people but it made sense for me. Ever since this phone was first released it caught my eye, it just seemed to tick all the boxes. The “P” supposedly standing for premium and I can see why, it’s hard to miss with its somewhat industrial metal design. Not to mention the visor that runs across the back of the phone, or the fingerprint sensor that seems to disappear at a quick glance. I ended up going for the 32Gb Graphite Model; I wouldn’t normally go for this colour way so it’s a real change of pace for me, but so far I am really liking it.
When I am looking at phones I always tend to lean heavily towards two things, the design and the camera quality. The Nexus 6P was the top of both of those lists, well next to the IPhone 6s Plus but the less said about that the better. From the reviews I have read and the photos I have seen, the camera is brilliant. Right up there with one of the best on any Android. You’re lucky if a day goes by where I don’t take a photo so this was really Important to me.
I am really excited to get to use and to know this phone over the coming months. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations, what do you think of the Nexus 6P? let me know in the comments below.
