I have been looking for a new backpack on and off for a few months now as my current bag has seen better days. The Trainerspotter daypack has been my go to bag for the past couple of years and it has served me well, from going to festivals to my daily commute it’s hard to fault it. With an upcoming trip to London I decided it was time for an upgrade, as with everything I was incredibly fussy and I had to find the right bag.
I finally settled for this Patagonia Arbor 26L Pack in Camp Green. It has a deep main compartment with a padded laptop sleeve, front zippered compartment and a zippered compartment in the hood. One of the key things I was looking for when I was looking for my next bag was the capacity. The Trainerspotter daypack was fine for most things but when I was going away for a few days it was physically bursting. I always try and pack as light as possible but with that bag it was a struggle, I am not quite sure of its actual size but if I was to guess I would say it’s around 18-20L so the Arbor bag is quite a significant step up.
When ordering the bag online I was apprehensive at first about the colour. Green with Luminous orange highlights throughout is not a combination I would normally go for, but in person I love it. I picked mine up at Route One priced at around £50, it’s a pretty reasonable price, especially for the quality of the backpack. I have had the bag for a few weeks now and I am incredibly impressed. I can’t wait to use it properly in the coming few weeks.
What do you think of the bag? Let me know in the comments below.
